National Volunteer Week is an opportunity to highlight the impact volunteers have across the country. Here at Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, we are especially fortunate to have over 7,000 people share their time and talents with us each year as
volunteers. We are a grassroots, volunteer-driven organization and our success is measured by the strength of our partnership with volunteers.
We work hand in hand with volunteers to:
- raise funds to invest in research to find cures and improved treatments
- make connections that build community
- bring Crohn’s and colitis out from behind closed doors
- stop the missed moments and end the isolation so many feel
On behalf of the 1 in 150 Canadians living with these chronic, debilitating diseases, please know you are making a difference when you partner with us. We could not help so many people without your support through programs like
Camp Got2Go, the
AbbVie IBD Scholarship, local community Chapter meetings that offer informal support as well our online
Gutsy Peer Support, the
Gutsy Learning Series and so much more. Every day, your efforts bring us closer to our Promise to find cures and improve the lives of children and adults living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Thank you, during National Volunteer Week and for every moment you work hand in hand with us.
With sincere gratitude,
